127Lu COPD Pneumonia Atypical Appearance

57-year-old male with recent Covid 19 infection, found to have a
wedge-shaped opacity in the right midlung and multifocal patchy opacities on chest x-ray, being further evaluated by CT.

There are bilateral multifocal consolidations favoring the periphery andmost dense in the right middle lobe, lingula and left lung base. These findings are most consistent with pattern of atypical pneumonia and commonly seen in the setting Covid 19. Organizing pneumonia is included in the differential diagnosis, or as a consequence of the Covid 19 infection.

In the face of COPD and lung destruction the consolidation sometimes take on the form of a Swiss cheese appearance
